Aerobika Device: the Innovative Airway Clearance Device for Mucus Removal
What is AerobiKA®?
The AerobiKA® airway clearance device is a new way to help remove or clear mucus from the airways. It is an oscillating positive expiratory pressure (OPEP). It should be used along with your breathing exercises to help you clear phlegm from your lungs. The AerobiKA®is a technique that works by helping to keep your airways open, and provides vibrations to thin and loosen the mucus in your lungs.
For how much time AerobiKA® should be used?
Usually, AerobiKA® device should be used at least twice a day, each time for 10 to 20 minutes. Ideally you should aim to produce little to no mucus on a daily basis which means your lungs are clear. If you are bringing up a lot of mucus, you need to use Aerobika* device more often.

The Aerobika is a device that can be used to help people with respiratory conditions such as bronchitis (an infection of the main airways of the lungs), bronchiectasis (abnormal widening of the bronchi or their branches, causing a risk of infection), cystic fibrosis (a hereditary disorder affecting the exocrine glands. It causes the production of abnormally thick mucus), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, or COPD, refers to a group of diseases that cause airflow blockage and breathing-related problems.), asthma or chest infection, who have difficulty clearing sputum (phlegm) from their chest.
